It has been a trying time lately for Kaley Cuoco Central.
I think our visitors and members have noticed traffic and activity on the website has been rather slow for a while now, and the recent hack attempt was yet another setback for our website. In short, and we (the staff) hate to say it, Kaley Cuoco Central is not what it used to be anymore.
While some staff members and our host are still working to verify everything is alright with our website and server, and software is being updated to ensure maximum security, we (the staff) also recently realized something needs to be done about the lack of activity and traffic.
While we (the staff) have always tried to do things as a whole, over the years several staff members found other interests and sometimes even went their own ways. This has put quite a strain on some of our leading staff members, and although we understand why certain members parted with us to seek their own way and don’t have any ill feelings towards these people, it has put a considerable strain on those who took over.
Another problem our staff is facing at this moment in time is their declining interest to work on the website. Seeing the forums slowly fade out to a dim light of what they once were, and the fact the selected few who still work on the website are facing an enormous workload they can’t keep up with, it probably doesn’t come as a surprise our lead staff members have recently gathered together to discuss what to do next.
Together they have discussed what could still be done to get Kaley Cuoco Central back to the glory of its former days, but had to conclude they exhausted every opportunity and possibility to make this happen. One of the reasons is they just don’t have the time anymore to fully commit themselves to a full resurrection of the website. They either are running other websites which takes up a lot of their time, have commitments in their personal life, or both. And when you’re already pressed for time it’s a fact you can’t fully commit yourself to a website that has been understaffed for a while already and requires you to focus all your efforts on it to be resurrected. The time constraint also never allowed our lead staff members to seek out other staff members when it was needed, which is yet another unfortunate result of the situation our website has been in for a while now.
Our lead staff members therefore decided to do what they never thought they’d be doing at a certain point, shut down Kaley Cuoco Central but leave the door open for a possible resurrection in the future. It’s a decision they didn’t like to make but as they put it: we rather close it down now when it still is something we can look back to with pride, than to just leave it there and let it decline even more. It’s a painful decision they took, that is for sure. A lot of work has gone into the website, and I remember the countless hours they spent tweaking and discussing things. I think however most who read this will understand where this decision comes from after reading this announcement.
Kaley Cuoco Central’s possible future resurrection date at this moment in time is unknown. Fact is though the will to resurrect the website is there, but a lot of things will have to be discussed before this happens. Those who want to be part of this are welcome to attend, and can contact Albert or Brad to inform them they want to help.
All our staff members wish to thank everybody who paid us a visit or became a forum member for being there. We apologize to you for not being able to prevent the state Kaley Cuoco Central is in right now, and hope you will find your way back to us if and when we decide to give it a try again.
As I am now concluding this announcement I will now list the inevitable, Kaley Cuoco Central’s closing date.
