Leonard Nimoy set for ‘Big Bang Theory’ cameo

Legendary Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy is set for a cameo role in the March 29 episode of The Big Bang Theory, according to TVLine.com.

TVLine's exclusive report suggests the Spock actor, who has largely retired from on-screen acting, will speak to Sheldon in a dream sequence but will not be seen.

The Big Bang Theory producers have previously stated their desire to have Nimoy guest star on the show, calling him their 'dream' guest star. Many mentions of Nimoy and his famed character Spock have been made in the show, including a memorable scene where Sheldon receives a napkin signed and used by Mr. Spock himself.
