Production has begun on the third season of The Big Bang Theory. The first taping will occur next Tuesday, August 11th. The cast had their first table read of the season on Wednesday.
The first episode, set to air September 21st, is titled “The Electric Can Opener Fluctuation“. Dave Goetsch, a writer & co-executive producer, posted a picture of script on his Twitter account.
Laurie Metcalf will return as Sheldon’s mother in the episode, after the guys return from the Arctic. Leonard and Penny’s romance is to progress further this season, it was revealed at Comic-Con.
