Jim Parsons to seek separate contract negotiations?
The Big Bang Theory cast are currently renegotiating their contracts in light of the show’s increasing success, and Deadline Hollywood reports Jim Parsons may be looking to negotiate his contract separately from Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki. Many had presumed the cast would act like the cast of Friends and negotiate together. Warner, however, are reportedly planning to offer a ‘favored nation’ deal that sees all three paid the best salary any of them were able to negotiate.

Warner Bros. has announced the The Big Bang Theory: Season 3 DVD and Blu-ray will be released in the U.S. on September 14th, according to TVShowsOnDVD.com.

The DVD will contain 3 discs and the Blu-ray will hold 2. The episodes will be presented in widescreen on both, with high definition quality on the Blu-ray. Audio is reportedly English Dolby Surround 5.1 for both, which would be an improvement for the DVDs as they previously enjoyed only stereo audio. A Portuguese stereo audio track will also be included.

Extras are a Gag Reel, a tour of the set with Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar, and a “Take-Out with the Cast of The Big Bang Theory” featurette including interviews with the cast and crew. The cover art work isn’t yet available.

Big Bang Theory Stars Want A 285% Raise
The cast of The Big Bang Theory are looking for a 285% wage rise, according to Forbes. This rise would take them from the relatively low (considering the success of the show) wage of $65,000 per episode to $250,000. The new wage would still be significantly less than Charlie Sheen, for example, earns per episode of Two and a Half Men. Sheen is now thought to be receiving upwards of $1.5m for each episode of Men.
